Indian Wells

While in the desert with the grandparents we all got to go to see professional tennis, the BNP Paribas tournament, the Big Time of tennis.

There are 12 stadiums surrounded by the beautiful purple mountains majesty of the California desert and you can just bop around all day long going to see any tennis match you want.

This is Federer the Great practicing. You can get super close to watch all the most famous players warm up. It's totally spectacular!

A bare-chested Baghdatis.

Look how close we got to Djokovic! Does this mean anything to anyone else but us?

We got to see the Djoker lose in a doubles match later (and he doesn't lose much!) The whole experience was very sports-inspirational to me. I felt lucky to be there.

Hi Gus:

Tennismeans something to Auntie Kathy.....and would mean even more if it was Nadal! You should come to Wimbledon in London!!

Can't wait for you to meet your cousins Oliver and Dylan.

Hey Gus, I know your a huge tennis fan, and you weren't even there that day, so I will forgive you when you mistake Marcus "Bags" Baghdatis for naked-man Tipsarevic.

What a GREAT trip that was! Missing you all already...

love you guys,
Aunt Cari
