berry pickin good times

We went to nearby Sauvie Island to pick some of the most delicious and sweetest strawberries you ever did taste. We went with good ole Owen and my newest friend (another one!) whose name is Humphrey. I got a feeling you'll be seeing and hearing a lot about good ole Humphrey.

Back behind the wheel. Feels good.


I went on a bunch of my little rides and then dad convinced me to go on this, the Spider. BAD IDEA. At first it was fun, the little spider hand spins back and forth and bit and you go up high, while everyone is loading on. Then it starts. It starts going fast, and then it spins, and then it spins you so fast that gravity pulls your body and head back to where you are practically paralyzed. I was smiling, then laughing, then screaming, and then I just started making this low errr noise that sounded like a vacuum dying. My parents kept telling me it was okay and that it was almost over but I could not talk to them I could only make the noise. I was never so happy as when it stopped. Once I got off the ride I started telling everybody that I loved it.


This is the go carts, the view from the ferris wheel which I also went on and also felt a bit scared on but only a little.


We got ice-cream, my dad and I did my favorite thing the shooting gallery game, and my new favorite thing the squirt the balloon game where my dad won me a scoobie doo, and we also played skeeball where I used my skeeball tickets to buy Nerds. Pretty much the best way you can spend a Tuesday afternoon.

Stu Baby. Stuart is out of school for the summer so we spend every possible minute together now. We trade off houses and yards and we run back and forth for the entire day.


We argue some but we always work it out. We don't get sick of each other.


He's my best friend I think.


I have lots of other friends too, as you know, like Luca here. He's a year younger than me so sometimes I feel kind of older and superior. Sometimes I act like I'm the boss too much maybe.


Stuart's 5 now and we are a good fit. I realize it takes a lot of time and work to find friends who are the right fit for you. Advice: when you find them, hold on!

Graduation Day

On the last day of school we had an ice-cream social with homemade ice-cream, and also really good ice-cream, at my school.


Best part is that I am going to summer school and so is my buddy Owen. In the fall, I'm going to the big guys school so these are our last school times together, Owen and me.


Julian's going to kindergarten, Luca's going to Japanese Emersion School (whatever!), and I'm going to pre-K at the public. But until fall, we have sum-sum-summatime...

Best Dad Award goes to...

I love my Dad!! You guys just don't even know how much. He takes care of me every day, we spend so much time together that he is actually like a mom, a mom-dad. Thank you, dad, for doing this. You are making this part of my life very special. I am a healthy, confident, smart and fun guy because of all your father work. I wont' forget it!!

Come Bike With Me!

So, I remembered to show you my bike and here it is: A BMX Mongoose, super super cool, and I love it. The freedom I feel with the wind going through my hair, the power of my own speed...it's so uplifting! We three are all on a major bike jam around here. It makes us all feel really great.
