The Nutshell
Here's a little slice of life on Bainbridge Island when everyone is home for a visit. It's kind of long, but short when you realize that these six minutes show you everything that goes on here. Just multiply these happenings by 100 and you will know all you need to know about the life of a Branch DeWittian:
Deer
Fly fishing
Farting
Scrabble
Jokes/laughing
Cookies
Birds
Mamop cooking dinner
Bobby watching hockey with his glasses hanging out the corner of his mouth
My dad and uncles huddled around a laptop
and that's it!
Were you able to spot all the happenings?

Everybody's Working For The Weekend
Bobby and Mamop came up, TOGETHER, for a visit to the beautiful town of Portland. The weather was beauteous for them. I went off with Bobby to the Aviation Museum to see WWI and WWII airplanes and to, of course, get pancakes. Mamop went off with my parents to eat at fancier diners and see all the parts of the town that she has not explored yet.
And they came to my basketball practice and got to watch me do my drills: my chest passes, my bounce passes, my overhead passes, my dribbles, my pivots, my shooting baskets and my favorite, my defensive stance.
They seemed to really enjoy my class, especially the part when the coach says stop in place and all the 3 year olds go off running in the other direction and the whole room turns to chaos.
Beautifullness!

Live to Ride, Rides to Live!!!
Awww Yeah!!!
This is Oaks Park, our local amusement park. It's been here for a hundred years and mom says it looks like time has stopped here. It was the absolute coolest!
We went while Dad was away. We rode the little locomotive train...
We went on the Lewis & Clark ride where you go through doors in a little cart into a dark world where things pop out at you...
The camera flash kind of blows the effect, it's a lot scarier and weirder in the pitch dark...
And there were a bunch of rides for kids my size. I went on this one twice, on account of the gun...
And there's a shooting gallery where you hit targets and make the guy play piano or the bird flap his wings and stuff. I stayed here for about 40 minutes...
This was a ride where I had a sweet little girl passenger on my bike. She just got on! All the other boys laid on their motorcycle horns the whole time and my sweet little girl did not like that.
Look at us! Me and Mama, the two of us having a great day with our little short fat legs!
